Nivea "I Want You" (Marvin Gaye Cover)

What do you guys think?

I don't think it's terrible actually, not as bad I was expecting, but not great either. The song starts off decent but then it gets progressively worse. What it's really missing is that soulful vibe that Marvin had (of course no one will ever be able to compare to Marvin).

"And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ heart

"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always heart

She sounds like she is singing through an empty, toilet paper roll.

"Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

Identity

I don't have a problem with her interpretation. She however fails to instill the burning passion and desperation the song calls for.

I agree. She is a decent singer, but her delivery is pretty bland for the most part.

Nivea! Great job!

I felt the tragedy in your beautiful delivery!

Listen people, Marvin Gaye was a great singer, but their are great singers today, and will be great singers tomorrow. Don't hate talent because of who she is not, judge people on their own abilities...

End of rant

i'm not familiar with this nivea, but it sounds like she is phoning it in... i don't hear the emotion which marvin gave to it.

but the fourplay version of this track here actually sounds better with eldra... i can't find it here though.
