I got a question: was Patti having a cold the day she was on the show? Can't quite understand why she was trying to go to church on a song that didn't quite need that requirement. At one point the live audio muted and the studio version was played (I guess by the uploader).

Strange upload but it sucks the "If Only You Knew" performance of it was taken off of YouTube. Somehow, these too proud to post Labelle fanatics haven't re-posted it yet.

i have seen this one before... you mean 'labelle of the ball' doesn't have this one up?

yeah, i do remember this performance being a bit off... and i'm actually one of the few who doesn't mind her going to church on a song that doesn't necessarily need it. but here, the subtlety in the delivery was what makes the song so good.
