2010 Three time Grammy winning guitar hero Jeff Beck will be special guest performer of American Idol on Wed. April 6th. Beck will be accompanying the remaining 9 Idol hopefuls as they salute Rock & Roll Hall of Fame songs.

Beck in the US on tour backed by Imelda May and her band in support of his new tribute cd/dvd/blu-ray ROCK N ROLL PARTY HONORING LES PAUL, has played to enthusiastic and sold out crowds in most venues (DC, Philly, Boston, NYC, NJ) so far. He plays two back to back sellout shows in Chicago this weekend.

After heading to Dallas for this tour, he will do stops in Southern California and conclude in San Fran on April 9th.

The night after A.I., he will appear on The Tonight Show starring Jay Leno backed by Imelda May and her band.

On April 13th, Beck returns to the road with what he calls his 'super band' of Rhonda Smith on basses, Narada Michael Walden on drums and Jason Rebello on keyboards. They will do dates from April 13th to May 7th in the US, and then head to Europe for dates from June 11th till mid July.
