Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" becomes the first album in more than six years to yield four No. 1 songs on the Billboard Hot 100, as "E.T.," featuring Kanye West, rises 2-1 with Airplay Gainer honors.

The space-age love song follows "California Gurls," featuring Snoop Dogg, the title cut and "Firework" to the chart's summit, making Perry's second Capitol Records album the first to yield a quartet of Hot 100 No. 1s since Usher's "Confessions" in 2004.

On Digital Songs, "E.T." spends a third week at No. 1, logging sales of 254,000, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The song concurrently reaches the top 10 on Radio Songs (13-10; 74 million audience impressions, up 35%, according to Nielsen BDS).

"E.T." is Perry's fifth Hot 100 No. 1. Prior to her current album, her 2008 release "One of the Boys" generated the seven-week leader "I Kissed a Girl."

"E.T." marks West's fourth No. 1 and first since "Stronger" in 2007.

this list is actually not that impressive. Very popular stuff and decent, but not entirely great.

The most impressive thing to me about this list is that Janet's RN era lasted for 2 years.

This trick is sad. I've never forgiven her for shit talking Lady Gaga using religious themes in some of her work and it being a cheap way to get attention.... Next thing you know, the bitch is covering Gaga, having her titties out in her videos shooting cream from them and whatnot, and doing an alien-based video on the heels of Gaga's.

This girl needs to go back and be a wife for a while and come up with something of her own.

This is so bogus. Payola is alive and well, just don't get caught. Soundscan started it's tracking in 1991. Before that, labels were able to "grease" retail and radio to get the reporting numbers the lables were looking for regardless of sales. Don't believe any of this crap, because that's just what it is, CRAP!!

To be entirely fair, all 4 of her singles are catchy as hell. Why shouldn't they be #1s?
