Rihanna did Chris Brown a huge favor

Chris really got a lucky break here. A lot of other girls wouldn't have been so nice.

Rihanna Explains Why She Allowed Chris Brown Restraining Order to Be Eased

Thu, 31 Mar 2011 12:19:35

In her new Rolling Stone cover story, Rihanna reveals that she likes to be spanked, but she also said that there is a reason she allowed a judge to lessen the terms of her restraining order against her ex, Chris Brown, who beat the crap out of her in 2009.

"That's my decision," she said. "It doesn't mean we're gonna make up, or even talk again. It just means I didn't want to object to the judge." Rihanna also admitted that the two are not on speaking terms. "We don't have to talk ever again in my life," she admitted. "I just didn't want to make it more difficult for him professionally. What he did was a personal thing – it had nothing to do with his career. Saying he has to be a hundred feet away from me, he can't perform at awards shows – that definitely made it difficult for him."

That was nice of Rihanna, to consider Brown's career. Seriously. RiRi's a stand up gal.

Are you going to pick up the Rolling Stone with Rihanna on the cover?

Considering the revival Chris Brown's career has had in the last few months, and Rihanna's continued success, I thought it was an interesting article.

All we've heard about lately is Chris but this is the first time in a while Rihanna has discussed it. What it shows is that she has moved on from what happened and that's good to see. I think it was a classy thing she did for him. Whether or not he deserves it is another topic.

Um, domestic violence is never an 'old' issue.

hmmm Why should she give a fuck about Chris Brown's career when he didn't give a fuck about pounding her face in and potentially ending her life? I hate to say it but....

rolleyes Look their "issue" was none of the public's business to begin with so YES IT IS OLD. All these folks who still on Chris' dick about it are the only one's who still got a problem with it. He did it, apologized, did his community service or whatever that the judge told him to do, now it's like he not supposed to move on because he made a mistake? If that was the case, then all people of the world would have anger issues if we weren't allowed to make mistakes, learn, and move on from them. Some folks just like to keep mess going and never let go in order to keep that person down "hey remember what you did two, three, even 20 years ago???"

I'm not all in celebrities lives like some of the orgers are on here because its a waste of time IMO. And to be honest, most of the time its the case of folks not having a life of their own so its much easier to bash a celebrity instead. disbelief As if they will give a damn about what YOU say about them in the first place. I'll never understand that. That.is.all.

They're celebrities-if something scandalous happens in their private lives, the public is gonna know about it. As a woman, the issue of domestic violence is NEVER OLD to me and is not a trivial subject that we can just forget about so quickly as you seem to want to do. I don't care if it's a celebrity or a normal person-whenever I hear about it, it affects me. People would give Chris Brown more of a break if he acted like a man. Instead he's still running around doing stupid things and throwing tantrums when people ask him stuff he doesn't want to talk about. If he stops doing stupid things, the media and public won't be on his ass anymore. He has only himself to blame. Chris has time to turn it around, but I fully understand why people still hold his actions against him. It hasn't been that long since it happened and he's still a mess.

As I said, I posted this article because it affects his career. He can't use Rihanna as a future excuse if his career bombs. She is making things easier for him, when she didn't have to. It's all good for him anyway as his album sold well.

This has nothing to do with me or other orgers "not having a life of their own". As consumers, we're allowed to decide why or why not we choose to support someone. Obviously no one is perfect, but certain actions by these individuals will rightfully have consequences on their careers. The fans buy the albums and go to the concerts, so their opinions DO matter.

Because they are still two kids, i dont care if they are in their 20's or whatever, KIDS, and we followed their issue as if they were two grown people and expected them to make rational decisions, i think the whole issue is that domestic violence is swept under the rug, yes we can forgive and forget and move on, but its almost like there is non-chalant attitude with a guy punching a woman, and we actually fall back on "well she struck him first" well walk the fuck away if thats the case, say "look you got issues and walk away" but in this case, two kids, one with serious issues with his temper and another who i can see provoking things like this with her attitude, not a good combo. I mean look at Frankie Rodriguez of the Mets, this dude punch his father in law in front of his wife and kids and other players kids, now he's back pitching with his million dollar contract, did his 24 hours community service, slate clean?

I don’t take offense to it but I’m 23 (about to be 24) and I know way better than them they don’t represent all people in my age group. I understand and agree with some of what you saying but alot of us have more sense than these two.

Between Chris and his nude photos and Rihanna getting more and more naked with every CD she drops they need to just release the sex tape and be done with this subject. It's time to move on to the next lame attempt at being the biggest media whore. bored

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

so even though she'd say he was a bad person, she still wouldn't want his career to suffer?

so i'm guessing gary glitter should be given a comeback tour?
