That's a good question. I have no idea.

Clive must think that we're still in the late 90s lol

Well... he IS at that senile stage, right? lol

Honestly, I think her weight loss worked against her. I think people - especially women - felt she lost her "it" factor once she started to trim down. People looked at her as the chick that lost all that weight rather than J-Hud. There are people out there that want to see someone the same way all the time. Some thick women that were/are fans of hers probably see it as a slap in their face. The funny thing is, the reason she won the oscar was for playing an overweight singer, and now that's no more. I think there's a backlash of sorts over her weight loss.

I didn’t want to say it but it’s true I always joke with people that she was better when she was fat and I shouldn’t joke about that (I’m not really skinny myself) lol but it’s truth to it. She changed not just physically but personality wise too I never was nto her music I rooted for her when she won the oscar but overall she does nothing for me.

Any cd with a lead single called "where you at" deserves to flop. Who's gonna buy that shit?

I just don't find this woman interesting at all. She seems very nice and she's lovely and sweet and I feel bad about her family.

I just don't see why she is famous beyond being a good karaoke singer??

Her voice doesn't fit none of the songs.

His CD came in at number one and her at number two. Hardly the disappointment they're hyping up to be. Most artists would kill for the number 2 spot.

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

Where You At is probably a better song than Fantasia's Collars Greens & Corn Bread, but they both could have chosen better songs.

Just got her latest album from iTunes. I think it's pretty good. I love her voice (always have) and the songs are good. I've never been the one to judge the quality of music based off of record sales. That means squat to me. Most of the music that I consider to be masterpieces aren't hits. To each his own, I guess. cool
