Poco ~ Heart of the Night

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I really like 'Rose of Cimarron', for years i thought it was the Eagles, it turns out Timothy B Smidt was in that band aswell, kinda figures. cool

Joe Walsh was a solo act before joining The Eagles. smile

I was referring to the fact that Timothy B Smidt was in Poco before Eagles and that 'Rose of Cimarron' sounds very much like Eagles.

I'm aware of that, just saying Joe was also releasing music before joining The Eagles. I wasn't talking about the song. Tim was in some other group in addition to Poco & The Eagles, but I forgot their name.
