Haven't a clue, but she's a vocal beast though.

I saw her in concert-not by choice-about 2 months ago. While she can sing like a mug, she got on my nerves. She's kinda like what Maya Angelou would be if she could sing. Part of my crankiness I attribute toe the fact that her "sound" or her music is not easily categorized and that is to her credit.

maybe she's a new jack Sade. picky, doesn't like to record JUST to do so. i love her, though she can get to quirky with her voice. did anyone see her & Kem's performance during the Anita Baker tribute on BET? HORR.I.BLE. They tried too hard to be spectacular and it just fell flat. My favorite song by Rachelle is I Forgive You from her Individuality album

Oh, I can answer this! The woman is IMPOSSIBLE to work with!! She has such a rep in the business that no wants to touch her. There is one about being a perfectionist and I can respect that, but she takes that to a whole nother level.

In concert she's the same way. 99 percent of the audience has no clue if something is wrong as long as it sounds good. The woman will stop in the middle of a song to point out that her mic needs to be turned up, or her monitor is too low. Once at the Roxy, she stopped a song to tell this guy to put out his cigarette, because it was bothering her. There is always somthing wrong and the audience gets very upset! I respect her talent, but the woman needs to chill!!

Holy shit, she's that much of a diva?? I'm surprised.

I saw her eons ago with Will Downing and Jonathan Butler, the 3 of them onstage together the whole show. It was vocal heaven.

I really don't mind all the behind the scene stuff as long as the performance is good, and to her defense, the couple of times I've seen her, she was superb.

One thing though, if you don't wanna hear LONG tirades about the music industry between each songs, avoid her concerts because she can talk an earful, boy.

That's a shame, I have thought about seeing her in concert in the past but will probably stay away now.

Wow! LOL! I had no idea she was a beeYOTCH! I guess I'D be TOO if I wore granny dresses under those hot lights, but I'm a dude, so granny dresses wouldn't look too good with my hairy legs ANYway! smile

Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up.
