Pia Zadora - When The Lights Go Out (Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis)

What Y'all Think About This Album? They are ghosting a F*^K out of her vocals!!! Lisa Keith And Cynthia Johnson are WAY UP FRONT!! I heard that Pia's husband paid Jam & Lewis right out of his pocket to produce this album as a gift to her.

I think they are some gems on here. Probably some Janet and Cherrelle throw aways. But then, I'm a J&L fan. cool

None of the songs really rocked my boat. J&L definately didn't waste any good tunes on her. Pia makes Janet sound like Aretha by comparison. When I first put the CD in I was like "when Pia gonna start singing?", 'cause all I'm hearing is the background singers. lol

still.... of course I bought it when it came out, didn't we all? you couldn't let a J&L album slip away, could ya?? razz

but I don't visit this album very often, I wouldn't say it holds any classic Jam&Lewis must have tracks

Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy!

Apparently I wasn't as big a J&L fan in the 80s as I thought because I never knew this album existed. Listening to the samples posted here, it's probably good I didn't know about it then.
