I don't know when the song was recorded, but Johnny's album was released in 1980, and there were several rap records in 1979. Criminally underrated would be an understatement when it comes to someone like Johnny. Dude never really got his props either. He was a flashy guitarist and he also mastered the talk box later in his career. | |
