Badu is not playing with her DJ career.
Under her disc jockey name, DJ Lo’ Down Loretta Brown, she will host her first mixtape dubbed CPR Blendtape.
The tape will feature all original music with guest appearances from Sean Price, Maimouna Youseff, RatheMC, yU of Diamond District, KingPen Slim and many others.
The expected release date is April 29, 2011.
