I'm surprised Thea never really "made it" after having her own show

This came out in 1993, back when everyone who performed on Def Comedy Jam was getting a TV Show.

sosgemini, that was the first time I ever saw Brandy. She was really good on that show! And yes, armpit, Jason Weaver was cute then. smile Haven't seen him in forever so I have no idea how he looks now. As for Thea Vidale, she reminds me of Redd Foxx in this way....she was known as a "blue" comic before she got that show, just as he was, but she managed to pull it off when all they were known for before was being nasty! biggrin After her stint on tv, it's my understanding that she went right back to what she was doing before.

I remember this well. This series was cute.

And who wasn't feeling Jason Weaver? I still put on Love Ambiton every now and again.

I don't remember Jason Weaver, but I remember Brandy-I couldn't get over how far apart her eyes were.

I liked Thea well enough. I was glad to see Brandy and Jason break out. Not long after that, Ray J starred on Sinbad's show.
