trueiopian is trying to say that her popularity played a role, which it did.

It's like Floptina having her breakdown now. It'll stay in the news for a week or two but I mean other than that it's not gonna dominant coverage because she's irrelevant and nobody cares. Her getting all drunk and pissy is still sort of underground.

Flop could have pulled the same head-shave like Britney and it wouldn't have been as big of a deal.

Exactly.

And you're right about X-tina lol It really did seem as if nobody cared about her little meltdown. Whereas everyone was concerned about Britney's and rooting for her to get help.

This is only the end of his career if he can no longer sell downloads, actual units, or sell tickets. It's not like the music industry hasn't ever put up with a violent, hot-tempered, or otherwise "difficult" person.

I never said she didn't have photos of her ass-beating. confused I said that if she weren't a BIG artist or BIGGER than Chris Brown then the reaction wouldn't have been as BIG as the it was. It's really not that hard of a concept to grasp.

Duh! YOU need to learn how to read. I never said you say that. My whole point is, VISUAL evidence of the beating of a famous person is gonna trump a damn marriage certificate in terms of shock value. Had R. Kelly had a sex video with Aaliyah and she was underaged, that shit would've been way more powerful than a marriage certificate.

Eh well that's a no brainer. confused

I was commenting on you saying that a sex tape with Aaliyah would be bigger than it already was. I disagree becaue he's more of a household name than she is. I don't think it would've been bigger. Like I stated, the reason why Chris and Rihanna was a big deal was because she's more famous. People will side with her more.

Christina does everything Britney does but to a lesser degree.

Britney becomes a pop sensation. Christina becomes a smaller one.

Britney delves into acting. Christina's movie does smaller numbers at the box office.

Britney gets married, has children, gets divorced. Christina follows suit.

Britney's in crisis. Christina begins her breakdown but it's not as epic.

Britney has her comeback. Christina will attempt hers in a couple years but it won't be successful.

Nobody cares.

He should have channeled his sudden anger into his planned performance on the show, which was supposed to occur after the interview. Now THAT would have propelled sales. Darn it. mad

Their agenda has been the same as it's always been - ratings. They know the bigger topic is his Rihanna beatdown than his wack-ass CD, so that's what they're going to push. Also, he kinda fucked himself by not ever really coming out and talking about it, so he HAS to know that interviewers are gonna prod his stupid ass to give up the goods on what happened that night.

Ok true, but there's a proper forum, time and place for that, I believe. Not when you're trying to promote your CD, and then Rihanna's name comes up. Does that make sense for the media to do that?

HOLD IT! I just found out that this entire story is one big fabrication, and that it was confirmed this morning on The View that Chris did not break that window nor did he demonstrate any rage-filled tantrums backstage. Did anyone here see Hot Topics today?

Besides, if he did throw a chair like that and resultingly damaged property, with ABC's security guards EVERYWHERE, he would have been restrained, prohibited from exiting the building, and quickly arrested.

Now I'm not believing this. Nothing but sensationalism.

Rihanna is having to cancel several dates on her world tour because of lack of ticket sales. Chris Brown has resorted to showhing his penis, dyeing his har blonde, appearing with has been Bow Wow on 106 and Park - boy if they didn't look like homosexual lovers, both sagging, dressed nearly alike and even doing a little choreography together; and now he has a major meltdown this morning on Good Morning America.

These damn artists of today aren't shi+!

Sex tapes, drugs, rehab, theft, assault, nude pics, auto-tune and overblown egos - yuck at where the music biz is now.

Wacka Flocka Flame nude for PETA, what a mess - it just beyond word at this point.

Where's the proof?

You do know she was modeled afer Britney right? Jessica, Mandy, all of them. RCA saw Spears' success and followed the same formula. Britney is virginal (1998-2000) Christina is virginal. Britney does "I'm A Slave 4 U" (2001) Christina does "Dirrty." Britney signs an endorsement deal with Pepsi. Christina promotes Coca-Cola. Britney branches out into acting (2001) Christina's debut is also "a small town girl who wants to make it as a singer." Britney starts a family (2004) Christina gets married and pregnant. Britney has a breakdown (2007) Christina starts acting up.

But no it's just all a coincidence.

What the fuck is going on? Is the media having a SLOW news day?!

And Chris Brown is still stupid for that tweet.

Chris Brown should NEVER compare his public outbursts and trials with Charlie Sheen or any other overrated entertainer.

HE CANNOT DO WHAT THEY DO! Yes they say Charlie is crazy or Lindsey Lohan is crazy but they can always make a come back without too much damage.

I say RISE ABOVE, take anger managment classes, humble himself.

He's a young BLACK man.....he's got to try harder then others. That will cement him truly as talented.

Lol...I did catch the view actually...home sick so I watched all the morning shows. I think the ladies on The View said they weren't positive it was Chris who threw the the chair..it may have been someone in his entourage...regardless it still looks bad on him...why are they vandalizing the place...also he was alledegly screaming and carrying on and scaring the staff..so security was called....and why was he storming out the place with no shirt on lol

Besides ABC news is confirming the details now so it does look like this all went down.

Nope, although I didn't see GMA nor The View this morning, so I'm just finding out about this online. And on all these websites, the reports are loaded with discrepancies, since, for example, they state that he immediately "stormed into his dressing room," enraged after Robin's interview (seemingly at the point where that initial YouTube video posted a few pages ago ends). BUT, I've just discovered that he did not, and he actually DID perform after she talked with him:

And then you can see that he calmly walked off stage after the song. This is a set up. A clever, "defaming" set up. Oh the irony. disbelief
