Yeah and who uses the ORG to boost some artist's "album" when the "album" is hardly discussed?
Jennifer's gonna beat him on the album charts any damn ways.
Jennifer Hudson's got an album out on the same day's as Chris Brown's. Get it now? Sorry. Should've been clearer. My confused emoticon was in reference to your first sentence. Who's using the ORG to promote an artist? |

Oh. No, someone said something about the fact that Chris Brown had two threads here was giving him attention, and I think they mentioned the album coming out today. That's why I made the statement. Sorry for the confusion. |

The major difference between Sheen and Chris is, Sheen didn't beatdown a pop princess. Sheen fucks with trashy, porn hoes, so no one gives a fuck about thoes hoes. Chris beatdown Rihanna - she's famous and beloved. Had Sheen beatdown Denise Richards and then the photos got leaked, Sheen would've been shitted on as much as Brown is getting shitted on. Is there a race element to it? Probably so. But Chris' anger issues are what's fucking him up, while Sheen's "Lord of the Rings"-ish outbursts are just comedy and not hurting anyone.
Plus Chris & Rihanna are black so that brings in a racial element.
I think the timing of the domestic dispute played a factor as well. They had to skip an awards appearance because of what happened. As for Charlie though, I would think his violent temper aimed at the mother of his children (both Denise and this most recent woman) would carry more weight as opposed to his many random hoes and whatever transpired with them. You don't beat up a pop princess or your baby momma. I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!
RIP Dick Clark, Whitney Houston, Don Cornelius, Heavy D, and Donna Summer. |

Both dramas are uncalled for, both are dead wrong, both need help. But the media spin often differs due to the players involved. [Edited 3/22/11 10:48am] |

I agree. Like I said, both Charlie and Chris could co-headline a tour together. Call it the Bi-Winning, Desperately Need Anger Management Tour. Charlie can do his jokes about Duckie being a troll and Chris can dedicate the song "Deuces" to Robin Roberts. |

I didn't say it was because he's black. I said it just ultimately becomes a component to the story even though race has nothing to do with it.
Search the net and see how many people have called Chris a nigger and a monkey. The "All black men beat their women" talk, he should be "hung from a tree."
No doubt he was wrong for what he did but there's a lot of people that don't leave it at just that. |

I've seen more comments that refer to Rihanna's race/ethnicity as an "Island Girl" as to why she probably provoked him. |

That's really the only thing MOST know him for now. If you're expecting them to DROP it forget it. People were still talking about Janet's titty years after the fact. This is what the media is now. Oh me neither. I would have had no problem if he went to jail. He was guilty as sin and deserved to be punished. All I'm saying is that it just spices up the story. If Justin Bieber beat up Miley Cyrus he'd be called an idiot, a loser, and a woman-beater. With Chris, he's an idiot, a loser, a woman-beater AND a nigger and monkey. |

And you kind've get the feeling that Chris hasn't completely gotten over the whole thing as he's worried about his career. Last album tanked so now he's on his hands and knees begging for forgiveness and at the same time, trying to forget the situation and allude to it as well. Hence the new album is called F.A.M.E. (Forgiving All My Emenies). This guy certainly doesn't know what he wants and the media isn't doing him any justice. Now he has put his hand back on the plow and he's about to go through some crazy shit, possibly jail time.

And rightfully so. Ike Turner will always be remembered for the abuse.
If Chris Brown didn't want to be known as a beater, then perhaps he shouldn't have beaten up his girlfriend.
There are consequences to actions. He could have turned it around, but throwing a gigantic hissy fit - and again showing his capacity for violence - is exactly the wrong way to do it. |
