This is one of my top 5 favorite remixes by TR. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

I brought "What's the 411 remix" when i was a kid without knowing it was a remix album. But i much prefer the versions on this album to the original.

Speaking of the remix album:
I also loved the B.I.G./Mary J/K-Ci/Puffy remix of "What's the 411" over the one with Grand Puba on it.

I just listened to the orginal versions of whats the 411 and love no limit on you tube for the first time. They have nothing on the ones that appear on the remix album.

The fact the remixes were better than the actual songs (and the songs itself were good) speaks volumes on how fabulous that era was. I've seen no other artist in MY lifetime save for Michael, George, Prince, Janet and Madonna that had an era where NOTHING but great singles and albums were released and Mary J. definitely ranked up there between 1992 and 1997 to me. Both versions of "Love No Limit" are outstanding. If I had to choose, I'd go with the original. I love Mary's laid-back vocals.
The "My Love" remix is fantastic. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

I agree Alex. I like the original more than the remix for sure (though both are really good). The production on the original is a bit more heartfelt than the remix. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Teddy was still king at this time. Remember it well.
Mary's original version of "Love No Limit" was very Anita Bakerish. Hell, in its own way it could have been a tribute to Anita Baker without covering one of her songs. Similiar to D'angelo's "Untitled" being a tribute to Prince. I loved it. I kind of miss the jazzy side of Mary. She's been on a hollering spree for good while now.
Always got love for Mary though.

I have a feeling Mary may return to that smoky voice we all know and love. I don't know how long I can take of her caterwauling her way through a song. But like you I still have love for Mary.

The original was soulful, the remix was street. I love both.
