Britney's new album is a tuneless piece of shit! I'm glad the shit was leaked because then I could get a preview. Good lord, boring, clubby dance music that bores me to death. You will need more than extasy to get off on this. Britney is trying to be Lady Gaga without the hooks and charm.
Anybody else here this new shit? The critics are already overrateing it. All you others say Hell Yea!!

I like it but if we going to compared it to blackout (which is an album she will never get again time to move on people) than it’s meh I guess

FAIL. It's her third best album. Only Blackout & In The Zone are superior.
The critics are absolutely spot on.

I'm not a fan of Britney, but what did you expect? Britney has always been a club and dance influenced artist. She was doing that long before Lady Gaga. You can't expect her all of a sudden to change her style and be an alternative rocker or something. I did not download the record just because that very club driven sort of music isn't my thing. But I think if you like club/dance/house you would like Britney's album.

I actually like some of the songs.
Yeah its nothing special, but good timepass if you're bored and in a bit of a dance mood.

Agree 100% third best album and those two being the best, the funny thing is that we are talking about Britney being overrated by critics? she never rated high with them, Blackout didnt even fair well with them, if i remember correctly, alot of people here trashed her and Gimme More and the album and now when they trash this one, they use Blackout as a reference for their stance on her. Its a good record, light years beyond whats out there now. I haven't heard any of it, but you know it's going to be a sales hit. Probably will debut at #1 on Itunes and Billboard. Maybe not, but highly likely. Doesn't make it good though. However, what's good is a matter of opinion, as eveyone here already knows.

I'll wait for it to be released.
Slightly off topic, I'll never understand the over praise for "Blackout". It's a producer's album at best. Britney is not the best singer but at times she really has a way with a pop song but hardly on this album. She sounds "out of the zone" Most of the songs lack strong hooks and it seems like in most cases, the writers were ALSO blacked out so they couldn't bother writing more than two medicore verses for each song. That being said, I don't think a lot of "In the Zone" either and my favorite Britney album is "Britney".

But then...so is so much music is these days... It is a lost decade for popular music, sad to say. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

"Britney's new album is a tuneless piece of shit!"
And this is a surprise because...? Aren't all of her other albums exactly the same?
