Keyboardist, writer, arranger and producer Dexter Wansel was a big part of Philly International in the 70's and 80's, In addition to writing for the label roster, he released a number of solo albums, most notably Life On Mars (1976) and Time is Slipping Away (1979)....In addition to writing Patti Labelle's hit, "If Only You Knew", he also wrote the Jones Girls' hit "Nights Over Egypt"...

You're welcome ! And indeed, now that you mentioned it, i have a double-lp of the 1984-edition of that festival and that line-up, though i have to double check if Dexter also appeared on there. | |
