IMO are some of the greatest music videos ever, plus Trent is one of the only guy who's made me actually get creeped by one of his videos with Gave Up

Tool, Rammstein, Marilyn Manson, KMFDM, Depeche Mode, Frank Zappa, Zlad, etc. have all had weird, out there/ trippy video that where also artistic but Trent's vision is just great and defined music videos in the 90's for me even though i was young when these actually aired... in there edited form

Fixed for you. And agree, Trent was a visionary with his music videos as well as his music obviously. Love NIN.

And that's my friend Martin Atkins playing drums in the "Head Like A Hole" video, as well as on the actual song of "Wish".

Trent did for a lot of them, not the concept for each one but he was behind most of the videos. Especially the early low budget ones

See, that I had no clue about. Impressive, if true.

I thought the directors always came up with the stuff and he thought it sounded cool and just showed up for filming lol.

It is true, more with some videos than others. I have two different NIN biography books (the better one authored by Tommy Udo) and basically, Trent is very hands on with every aspect of NIN, not just the music, but the videos, the artwork, etc....He has a very clear and concise vision for each part of the process and he always makes sure that it gets executed the way he wants it, whilst still keeping room for the ideas of the other people involved (directors, photographers, etc).

Very true, he is NIN pure and simple, he really worked hard for the group to go as far as it did

I'm a NIN fan, so I knew the music was all him; I figured he had at least some say in the art direction too, but I never did know about the videos.

I always did like the way his brain works.

I've always wished he made a vid for All the Love in the World. I wonder what he would have done with it
