Andy shouldn't have quit.
According to his autobiography, Andy quit the 2nd time because of problems with the band's management (the last straw having to do with them not getting him a permit to work in the US) and that he doesn't get along well with Nick.
Nick is a true gentleman with exquisite taste in music...

Andy says Nick bosses everybody around and the others just do whatever he says. Andy said it was like that in the 1980's and was one of the reasons the group split the 1st time and why he and John formed the Power Station. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton |

Fair Enough. The most interesting/visionary member of a band should be the leader
The Arcadia album is like 10000000 times better than the Power Station project...
if not for Nick, DD would have been just another rock band...
