I can see why the auto tune was used for this project. It's almost as if he's retreating or holding back.
George seems mad about something. The last part of that video and the stare he gives proves it.

I was expecting to hear his beautiful voice not some auto tuned mess! After about 35 seconds I couldn't take it anymore.
not forced in thatt way, his expressions are looking like "oh i gotta sing now" what the hell happend to George? the only good thing is thhat this is a benefit single so its usually a throwaway song, if this was a hint of a new record, then i would be more worried, dreadful track. Sorry I couldn't bear to watch it all. Looks like what someone said earlier that he was doing this "just because" and not because his heart was into it. Sitting on a bar stool with hand movements and colorful clouds around makes me rather want to watch an episode of the Bob Ross show. The autotune is horrible...what in the world George?
