Jackie's voice has always sounded the same. You must have never heard him talk before. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Maybe, but he sure don't look like one. Especially when he was younger.
Jackie was so fine "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ
"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always

Jackie sounds like a big 70s pimp, he has a high tenor but it's not girly/feminine like MJ's was in the early 80s. But Tim said that he's a better vocalist than Jermaine, I beg to differ. Jackie was never a great singer, his tenor fit well within the group. Jermaine was the second best vocalist in the family next to MJ. Dude get on my nerves and all, but these Jacksons were never strong solo vocalist except for the two brothers. Janet gets by barely with her vocals.
Also, it's not really about Jermaine as far as the Alejandra situation is concern, that woman is basically a jumpoff who's living off the family. Gold digging at its finest.

I meant now. Like he ain't even trying. Then again, he's barely heard in the background of that snippet I heard.

Yeah Jermaine is definitely guilty of not trying hard enough these days but I beg to differ when it comes to his vocals. He still is a better singer than Jackie. Jackie is good as a background singer and has some writing skills (he wrote this song as well) but he is not a frontman or lead singer IMO.
And I think Jermaine's voice in the chorus sounds more distinct than Jackie's. Don't you agree?
