That's a good, yet tough call! J5's version may be experimental and drawn-out as hell, but I actually dug it. But the Tempts version is the definitive one! The harmonies are just impeccable.

Yeah don't get me wrong I do love the J5 version but I love the other versions more so. Especially now.

Hell the whole Get It Together found them experimenting with a more psychedelic, progressive sound. It's their most experimental release as a group.

Yep...'72-'75 proved to be interesting times for the Jackson brothers. Mike's voice was changing and the Corporation were on their way out, even though Hal Davis became sole producer. Get It Together and their cover of "Hum Along And Dance" was the antithesis of that.
