Also I believe he was BLACKBALLED from the record industry after "Word to the Badd". It destroyed his career. Whatever kind of success he had got completely overshadowed. That's why he's been trying to please the PR with his "I love you Michael" schemes. Not saying he didn't love his brother but come on.

that's what i was saying, he was effectively blackballed b/c nobody could believe that d*** move.

and not to belabour the obvious, but if producers are so hot and heavy to work with jermaine, because he's a jackson, why aren't they? next to mj and janet, he's the most well know of the jacksons. if that name was going to buy him anything, why hasn't it?

why is he over in the middle east working on an album and not here with jam, lewis, or anyone else? he'd be in seventh heaven if any those producers called him up. do you really believe that it's that *HE* that doesn't want to work? no, it's that no one particularly wants to work with him.

he's the one who was always talking about a 'reunion' w/mj so clearly he was interested in getting back the j5 glory days. from what i understand, he was demanding that he sing lead on all the songs they were working on on that show.

but look around. he had a show in vegas a few months back; they had to give away tickets.

i'm sorry, i'll believe jermaine still has a 'career' when pigs fly.

Relax, kibbles. lol You don't know if producers have expressed interest to him or not. He's met all of 'em, I'm sure. With Lionel the producers didn't reach out to him, he reached out to them when he was ready to get to work. Jam and Lewis were willing to work with the guys on the show, but the brothers were the ones that f'ed that up. Same as that other producer on the show (forgot his name). For all we know those producers are still willing to get in the studio with Jermy. shrug We don't know that for sure. And we don't know for sure why Jermy would rather be the lame ass family spokesmodel than get his lazy ass out on the road or in the studio.

And we don't know because he ain't talking.

About the reunios? falloff That shit wasn't happening...EVER! Which is sad because it really could have been cool IF they had done a set list that was true to old Jackson 5/ Jackson songs. I would have loved to have seen an old-school revue of sorts. sad

I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

I agree with your other post. He did appear to have an obsession for Michael, but MJ was obviously more charismatic.

okay, okay. i definitely could buy that he's been blackballed for reasons we talked about upthread. if he's been blackballed, no one cares if he calls them out on it. they would simply say, 'we don't have to work with you'.

the result? singing 'blame it on the boogie' on the seine. tease

I would read it if it was about the drama with him during the Motown days and his feelings on his brothers leaving or being honest about not being on Michael’s level but overall I wouldn’t read it.
