This thread, and questions (below) reminds me of the movie "Office Space" when the white guy was feeling this gansgta music in his car.. When a brother walked by on the side-walk during a red light at the intersection, he quickly locked his doors.

Questions:

Would you hang with Nate Dogg if he wasn't famous?

Would you by his music if he wasn't singing about what he sang about?

Did you buy any of his music (to being with)?

Have you ever been around Long Beach Bangerz?

Did you try to clean them up , talk to them, and suggested them for a job at your company, or employer?

YHWH is Elohim Yahoshua is Messiah

Well, I knew not Nathaniel Hale personally, and I cannot honestly say I was a fan of Nate Dogg.

Oh, I didn't do the mix. Somebody made it over a year ago in tribute to Nate, being as he was so sick and they were saying he wouldn't be able to sing again. I found it in a download folder so figured I'd upload it.

I will play with the settings and see if I can make it downloadable.

People can bitch all they want about him now that he´s passed away, and yes, maybe he wasn´t that remarkable as a musician but I´ll miss him no matter what. I´ve been a true fan of Westcoast Rap since the early days of World Class Wreckin Cru and early Ice-T, I still have my tapes from the mid 80s, been an Ice Cube fan since the days of the Stereo Cru and CIA and no matter how supposedly negative Nate´s music was, I will miss him and it´s sad to know that another household name is gone.

I hope that at least his family receives some kind of money somehow to pay the funeral bills and medical bills. It´s a tragedy that someone with his fame and such rich "friends" couldn´t even pay his medical bills in his last years.

Again, may he rest in peace.

If you smoke, you're already at higher risk for stroke because nicotine narrows blood vessels. Isn't it true he was a smoker? Other factors include high blood pressure, stress and high cholesterol.

Nate will be laid to rest this Saturday, March 26.

What a bunch of fools. I see Warren G. has put on some pounds again after he had lost weight for that TV show.

So, their homie dies, and they got nothing better to say on stage than " Everybody say hoooooo, say yeaaaahhhhh.....make money make money make money!!" ?????

WTF?

So, now that he´s gone they all reminisce over him and pay their respect, but where were those fools when he needed to pay his medical bills? And what´s with the party attitude there ? Dude is DEAD....no need to act a fool.

Utterly shitty "performance", and I use that word carefully.

Snoop Dogg Appeals To Fans To Donate Money To Nate's Family confused

March 25, 2011

Snoop Dogg has established a memorial trust fund for the family of late hip-hop star Nate Dogg.

According to Snoop's website, the trust "has been set up for expenses of services and the financial security of Nate's children. 100% of all donations will be given to Nate Dogg's family."

Nate Dogg (born Nathaniel Hale) passed away earlier this month at just 41 from complications resulting from multiple strokes. The late singer was plagued with health issues for several years. He suffered strokes in both 2007 and 2008.

Snoop Dogg, who first collaborated with Nate Dogg in the early '90s, took to Twitter to express his heartbreak over his friend's death. "I am so sad but so happy I got to grow up wit u and I will c u again n heaven cuz u know d slogan all doggs go to heaven yo homie n baby brotha bigg snoopdogg!!" he wrote.

Donations to the Nate Dogg Memorial Fund can be made online via PayPal, by postal mail or in person. More details can be found at Snoop Dogg's website.

Oh, nice, so Snoop has established a memorial fund and asks fans to donate money?

I was just going to ask the same......why beg the fans for money when you have a huge mansion, more than a dozen sports cars and all the luxuries in the world, and your albums still sell like hotcakes? Is it too much to ask for that Snoop and his buddies donate, like , what, a couple of thousand dollars? Maybe even a few hundred thousand dollars?

Instead of bragging on MTV cribs with his mansion and his bling?

I really like Snoop but this is disgusting.

Not one of you know...HOW MUCH...Snoop Dogg has contributed, himself. So why are y'all trippin'?

Very true, we don't know how much he's contributed, and we also don't know if he's contributed any money. The thing is, it's tacky as hell to ask fans to foot the bill when Snoop and his cronies reaped the fame and financial benefit of Nate's vocal contribution. I mean, haven't the fans contributed enough once we BOUGHT the damn song/CD? So Snoop needs to be reaching out to his rap bretheren rather than the fans.

We don't know...IF...he's contributed any money. So why are you just assuming...he and his rap bretheren haven't?

This is what it says on Snoop Dogg's website:

I guess the same way you're assuming he HAS contributed. Works both way. Nothing in your posts suggests he has contributed.

True! nod

However, Nate Dogg...respectively...Nathaniel D. Hale was laid to his final resting place...today.

So I will respectively...WAIT...to actually see...what Snoop Dogg and his rap bretheren...DO or DON'T DO...before I cast any judgement. shrug

I dig. All I'm saying is, it's tacky to ask the fans to pitch in when the artists themselves have profited from Nate's vocal prowess.

That is where we disagree...because I really don't think that Snoop was just asking fans to pitch in.

Personally speaking, when it finally dawned on me that Nate Dogg had really passed away. I wanted to do something...to show my appreciation of his contributions to the Hip Hop Industry.

I could have sent flowers to the funeral home but thanks to Snoop Dogg's efforts...I feel better knowing the money I'd have spent on flowers...will really contribute to his legacy by going to his family.

Maybe...just maybe...one of his children has naturally inherited his skills and will use those contributions eventually do their Father proud. shrug
