Whaaaaaaaaat? Oh my, that's so sad. I was just listening to "Regulate" the other day. That's terrible. Nate Dogg was talented and had one of the most unique voices in rap. Really sorry to hear this.

"And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ heart

"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always heart

R.I.P Nate Dogg.

[Edited 3/16/11 1:28am]

This was one of my favorite hip hop songs of the 90s. I actually never knew there was a video.

Thanks for posting.

RIP NATE

No problem.

Nate Dogg's cause of death has been identified as "complications from multiple strokes", according to his attorney.

His manager said he was making steady progress and had regained most of his memory. He and Nate's relatives were clearly stunned by his death.

Lady T, too, was denied a sticky when she died, despite our petition. I was highly disappointed when it didn't happen.

Let Lady fucking Gaga die; not only would it be a sticky but you would have to manditorily send condolences to her family in order to log into this site.

Nate was a SINGER and contributed to musical history. He deserves his due.

Aww, naw! I hope this is a false alarm. Most sites are crediting the same source as posted here. TMZ supposedly confirmed it but has since removed the story.

I found out from a local newstation's facebook page. According to Warren G's tweet, Nate had suffered from 2 strokes, so I'm thinking that result of that lead to his death. He was soo young, but when God calls you, it's time.

I was a huge fan of a lot of these songs at the time but hearing them back now the sheer ignorance, misogyny and hatred expressed in the lyrics doesn't sit well with me at all. Nate et al inspired a generation of eager listeners to walk in their shoes.

At the time it was something of a novelty, and I am more likely to forgive the exception, but when it becomes the rule it gets a little old.

To be honest when I think about it, the second stroke he had in 2008 really did him in. He never fully recovered. Even if they didn't give him financial support for his illness, it was great to know neither of his "homies" never showed him at his downtime, like show pictures of him really struggling. Now had they done that, I would've cursed at them.

Yep I agree, it's definitely a matter of hindsight. Was made all the more seductive by the great beats and melodies but Nate on record sent some horrible memes out for fans.
