It's not a compilation, it's his debut album. Full liner notes, lots of photos and credits. I guess most of the songs were probably released on different compilations after the fact, but this is the tracklist:

It was all recorded at Death Row, but after the label fell apart when 'Pac died and Suge went to jail, he was able to release it independently in 1998.

Thanks for the quick reply and the info. I never knew about this album. Glad he could finally release it elsewhere even though it was recorded at Death Row.

This is really sad news. I read about it on a friend´s FB page. May he rest in peace.

Wonder why none of those millionaires that he sang for helped him with his medical bills. I mean, how stingy and greedy can you be?

There was something a little strange about the situation with "KUSH" and Dre. Timbaland and some other rapper are on the song mimicking Nate's flow.

When asked if it was Nate on the track, people acted like you weren't supposed to bring Nate's name up or something. Or like we didn't know that it was Nate who originated that sound. Really whack.

However, Snopp was cryin his eyes out on Facebook about it:

-

We lost a true legend n hip hop n rnb. One of my best friends n a brother to me since 1986 when I was a sophomore at poly high where we met I love u buddy luv. U will always b wit me 4ever n a day u put the g n g funk u put the 1 n 213 n u put yo stamp on everybody u ever didit wit

It's not Timbo, it's a new artist named Sly, and his vocals are stacked with Kobe's. (who also appeared on Eminem's "Talking To Myself" from Recovery). But yeah, it's pretty obvious those vocal parts were written for Nate to sing, and they just mimicked his style as closely as possible since Nate wasn't able to do it.

Daz had said a while back that Nate had never regained speech properly after the second stroke.

I never saw anyone's response as far as people wondering why the vox sounded like Nate on the track so I can't really comment on the second part. I always said from jump that the scenario was simply that Nate wasn't able to sing it, so they just had other guys copy his style.

Anyway, I was saying on Twitter earlier that Nate managed to steal the show even on songs that he didn't have a whole lot of vocals on. Like Tupac's "Teardrops & Closed Caskets" where he only has one line on the chorus, but it's dope!

here's another of my faves, kinda under the radar for most, unless you're really into west coast hip-hop. I had this on a Yukmouth promo vinyl back in the day.

It was only 4 months ago Warren G. appealed fans to donate funds toward Nate's medical expenses. Now that he's dead, maybe Dre, Snoop and more of Nate's "friends" will speak in remembrance of him.

Those "friends" are the same ones who could have paid for his medical bills. He put millions of dollars in their pockets so why not return the favor in his time of need?

Indeed. Supposed "friends" are generally the first to consign you to limbo once you suffer financial and/or health setbacks.

I am sorry to hear this. I know that he had health problems in the past few years, so I hope that he is finally free.

May his family and friends be granted peace, strength and grace.

It's nice to come here and read such positive comments. I just saw this news on Yahoo.com and the comments were so racist, ignorant and insensitive that I had to come to the Org where I knew proper respect and homage would be given to this brotha.
