jr walker and the all stars is actually one of my favourite groups on motown/soul. i don't think autry dewalt ever got true credit for his amazingness. 'do the boomerang' and 'groove thang' are two of the funkiest tracks you will ever hear from the 'classic motown' period (meaning, with the classic acts on that label). but JAMES JAMERSON never got proper credit either!!! he is the greatest bassist there ever was!!!
