Men At Work ~ High Wire

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Great choice Mickey, people dont realize that Colin Hay is possibly one of the best all around voices from the 80's on, his solo work, is like artwork, a criminally underrated/overlooked artist

^^^I don't know anything about his solo music, wasn't aware he was still around. I remember Men At Work had a third album that didn't get any airplay (in the US), and that was the last I heard of them.

The third record was pretty good but almost all the members were gone before it came out, Everything I Need should have been a bigger single, peaked around #45 and then the record disappeared. His solo work is a bit more acoustic, but he has done alot, just released a new record three weeks ago. His voice can be heard on a commercial a track called "Waiting for My real life to Begin" also the indie film "Garden State" basically used alot of his material, and some WB tv shows have also discovered his solo stuff as being perfect soundtrack music.
