Paying for sex is for scrubs with no game. Period. I don't give a fuck who you are. If you lack the game to talk a skeezoid out of her drawers, then go take a class on how to run game on simpleminded hoes. Now, paying a skeezer to keep her mouth shut, that's another thing altogether. wink

Interesting point of view, though can we agree interms of the men, the guy . . . it' takes a ho' to know one doesn't it?

I would think it isn't about having game, it's more about fulfilling a service, a need. No baby momma drama, oops pregnancy, nobody clinging on to you, no lyin', no manipulation just start-up fucking in exchange for money. "I'll call you". "Srubs" are the fools who get trapped paying thousands in child support for babies they don't want or taxpayers footing the bill for their babies. Or, the fools who keep goin' back to the same spot to be busted by an undercover cop and still pays without getting blowed.

Shit, ALL that you mentioned could happen with a trick as well lol. Pregnancy, STD, Extortion.

lol That's so true but that's true for anyone in a relationship.

But the point is we are speaking of someone who sought out the sex trade, it's that simple. As far as extortion even the woman at the bottom of the totem pole in the trade don't going around flapping their lips about who they've fucked, it's bad for business . . as is pregnancy. These woman are about business they don't give a tinkers damn about anything that doesn't include payment with services.

Great, now was there a point to this thread other than to talk about old news and drag the brother through some more mud. We know this went down almost a year ago.

Did anyone happen to hear the great vocal and lyric he laid on Mark Ronson's current record? Maybe not be your cup of tea, but he's showing that he's willing to explore musical territories off the path he's known for.

Russ Elevado was D's engineer on 'Voodoo' and he left this message on his website.

Americans are prudes when it comes to sex; prudes and hypocrites. Its not okay to pay for sex, but its okay to use sex and sexual stimulation to sell products. What kind of twisted ass logic is that? I digress. Hopefully, D will buckle down and drop something. If not, he put out two damn good solos records and some good guests on a lot of other material. You can't be mad at him for that.

Prudes? NO. Hypocrites? Yes.

You have to understand the logic of it all. It's about making money and maintaining some false sense of class and dignity. The comparison of prostitution to using sex to sell products is similar to the comparison of street drugs to pharmaceuticals. The people who make the rules want to ensure that a) they are in control of the profits at all time and b) they are in control of the image the product represents...at all times.

Call girls are cool because we don't see them and we don't know who they are and there is usually some monetary kickback to some politician or cop. Street hos are not cool because they are too visibile (and not in a good way) and they don't pay taxes nor politiicians.

Prescription drugs are ok because goverment funded and private funded research have led to their creation and there's money to be made and people to be controlled. Street drugs are not ok becasue they are not under the control of governmnet and corporate entities and minorities run the street business plus the users are not easily controlled aside from falling into the prison system which in an of itself can be considered a government kickback since we have been known to use the incarcerated for cheap labor.

All about the big bad dollar bill and who controls it and under what circumstance.

WHOOP! There it is. And remember Heidi Fleiss fought tooth and nail to get a male hooker ranch in Vegas but the powers that be stopped her every effort. Why would they do that when you have the Bunny Ranch? What happened to letting the free market decide? If she couldn't get customers whe would go out of business anyway. Bottom line, they weren't about to let no woman control the ho business especially when said business favored a female clientele.

I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

My recollection from seeing a documentary about her life during the sex Ranch timeframe is that Heidi was Winning just as hard if not boatloads harder than Charlie Sheen is right now. In the end I think the bottom line was actually that they weren't about to let no woman in psychosis control the ho business. When drugs and alcohol and mental health issues are also involved with an industry such as prostitution - shit starts to spin like a top - out of control right quick/soon enough. She also has some felony charges that might prevent her from obtaining a Ranch license - no? The best quote from her in that documenatary was "Great!! I got time! Charlie got 1 million an episode."

lol. You drinking the same Kool Aid he was?

I believe Dave to be a very funny guy, but he's also very troubled. He admitted that it wasn't all the suits wanting him to be a stereotypical black comedian.

He had some serious issues, deeply ingrained in him. Some of his skits were painfully unfunny because it looked like a guy who seriously had a need to make people uncomfortable about racism under the guise of being funny or entertaining - neither of which racism is.

Still waiting to hear why this is a "stereotypical meltdown."

C'mon now, Spinlight, are you really gonna split hairs on this just for a little bit of self-satisfaction? I am left wondering, what is really going on? What are your reasons for being so boorish in your regard of Dave Chapelle? Was their a particular joke or two that put you off of him? Are you simply staying the course with being oppositional in this thread?

Racism, Homophobia, Mysogyny, Class ... they are all uncomfortable with or without the funny and entertaining parts. Personally I like to throw a laugh in now and again to sustain me through the discomfort. Hey wait, is this thread you throwing a laugh in?

Alright, I didn't like the joke about the blind black racist who said "nigger" every 5 seconds. I felt the audience didn't like the joke either. It might've been funny for like 2 mins but the sketch was like 5 and it felt like it was just an excuse for him to scream nigger on TV.

I didn't like his bait and switch move when it came to his image and his product. I get the dislike of being catcalled by his punchlines, but whatever.

Its my feeling that Dave was in a prime spot to deliver intelligent, funny, cutting edge, risky humor. He did that... about 50% of the time. The other 50% felt like he was taking out his frustration on the audience. I am not saying that people should be okay with racism - quite the opposite. However, comedians who seem to hedge too much of their act on slurs bother me.

I am critical of Lisa Lampanelli in the same fashion. I simply don't care for people who pull overly complicated moral high ground by forcing "nigger", "faggot", "spic", and "kike" down people's throats in a bid to... What? Educate them? I don't get it. Maybe I'm just not evolved enough.

Sounds to me like you are annoyed with people who refuse to submit to the conditioning of political correctness.

Are you one of those people who think the word "nigger" should be removed from Tom Sawyer and replaced with the word "slave"?

Folks, look at it this way.....at least he is interested in sex...okay, he tried to pay for it, which is uncool, but hey, he seems to have a healthy sex drive and felt the urge. Paying for sex is a no no but still, in this scenario, I say it´s a good sign. Better than those drugged out crackheads who´ve lost their sex drive.

Second....he looks far better in that picture than in most of the other pictures, including those nasty mugshots, that I´ve seen of him in the past few years. Comparatively slim and, dare I say it, healthy and athletic. (Okay, his wardrobe needs an update, but I digress).

I think I´m the last and only one around here who still believes in D´Angelo. Sure, he´s been busted with drugs several times, he looked ballooned up for a while, his voice suffered from drug abuse but he is in no way comparable to Lauryn Hill. Poor guy had major problems with his record label(s), some serious personal problems, and besides, he´s got tons more talent than Lauryn, and he´s been releasing the occasional song here and there and guested on many good songs, for instance with Dr.Dre, Snoop, Common and so on.

Give him a couple of weeks in the gym, a good personal trainer, a good recording deal and you´ll be faced with the best album since__________________________.

I´ve seen him live, and that dude is a serious force to be reckoned with. If he doesn´t come up with a great album real soon, I will personally go and find him, have a few good cups of coffee with him and have a serious talk with him.

Believe me.
