Late Night Slow Jam: "Don't Say Goodnight" by The Isley Brothers
Alright now, I'm sittin' here with my computer (which is plugged into my stereo) on shuffle on the genre "Slow Jam" of the endless music I've put into the computer from vinyl, CDs, cassettes, downloads, hell, even a few 8 Tracks.
"Don't Say Goodnight" comes on and this is just the type of slow jam to bring a damn stranger home at 3 a.m. after partying all night (if there is such a thing as a damn party at a club these days...which there isn't).
Anyway, it's a slow jam to get your dick hard, your pussy wet, or whatever the hell you're workin' with out there. Give it up dammitt! . . . [Edited 3/12/11 22:57pm] Andy is a four letter word.

I remember when I was living in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at ages 19-20, I would play Don't Say Goodnight & Between The Street back to back for excellent results with my lovely date at the time.

Another classic from one of the best bands ever. And yes, this song definitely served its purpose with me in the past. As a matter of fact, it has served me well

A powerful love song like this brings back so many precious memories without even having to press [PLAY]. For some reason, this song makes me a little sad too. But what's that old saying? "It's better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all"... or something like that.

One of my favourite Isleys tracks.

Another SLOW DRAGGER. The Isleys had a lot of those blue light basement party slow jams.
