Uh i'm reading this autobiography by Janet and she says she's finally hapy. This is like the umpteenth time she's said she's happy. Once during The Velvet Rope Period when said she'd found her sirituality and wore the Sankofa. Then during All4U she was thin and was happy. During 20 YO sh sid she'd felt 20 years old and never better. Now after Discipline and being about to start her Number Oes Tour Janet say's she's finally hapy. She finally loves herself and got rid of the roblems she had or doesn't care about them. I don't know is it bolted and tied down Is she truey happy won't get depressed make another album have a breakthrough and be finally happy again?

To make this about Prince since its in the Prince forum, Prince used to play "What Have U Done For Me Lately" in concert.

really Prince did a cover f one of anet's songs. Wouldnt see it. He doesn't generally do remakes. Although I heard Prince and anet were supposed to do a duet in the early years after 2000. I meant this in the other artists forum.

Prince and Madonna I could see but Janet's ust not his type.

how would you know what music prince like... and janet has been a prince fan and definitly the Minneapolis sound since working with JJ and TL... so yes i can see prince enjoying janet's music more than madonna's

Yes I'm asking if she's hapy. I mean it doesn't make any sense. She's one of the most beautiful people in Hollywood. She's rich, sold platinum records, on of the most rememberable people of ur time, short, and tiny but yet she's thinks she's ugly, was unhappy and felt fat.

to the next erson, yeah this is a very basic question but I think people in the forum could make the thread interesting.

first of all janet maybe a black woman.. but she is not sassy like that... she is very quiet and demure and speaks very little and very softly. so NO they would not be getting into arguments every 3 minutes...

half the time when i see home footage of janet she seems like she is always sedated, and that is because she is just a quiet gentle person. Nothing wrong with that.

from what i see most of prince's women aren't sultry, they are just brunettes who wear to much make up.

and lastly almost all janet's husbands/boyfriends all looked metrosexual except JD

^^^ You know it! Besides, the word "happy" is highly subjective anyway... One person's idea of "happy" differs from another one's. Also, people's ideas of what constitutes "happiness" changes as they grow older and their perspectives change... Janet's conception of happiness now is probably much different than it was years ago... I'll find out more when I get to the next chapter of her book tonight!

Black latina is not almost the same as african american I never specified the type of latina, but since you mentioned it black latina isn't far off from what she could pass for in those pics.

Your right its not almost the same because its the same thing.. both slave decents from Africa (one ship when to north america and the other to south america... Its still black history month, why not do your research before opening your big trap) I have seen Dominican, Brazilian people who look 100% African and sometimes more African then black americans.... Heck any black american can pass for Afro Latina and vice versa....

Well yes Janet does sorta look like a latino, a peuerto rican one. They would qualify as blatino but hatians,jamaicans and dominicans are prety much black. She is however mixed with indian. Being from Alabama The jacksons might have creole in them.

And although many black women aren't sassy most women who are are.
