Folk world loses icon, legend in Jack Hardy

Jack Hardy − troubadour, influential songwriter, jokester, playwright, musician, wearer of the velvet green jacket − has died of cancer. He was 63. Though this news has not been officially announced by Hardy’s family, the social media “airwaves” are filled with remembrances and tributes to Jack. Musician Jonathan Byrd wrote a moving tribute on Facebook.
