NEW YORK — Ja Rule is set to go to prison in June in a New York City gun case.
FILE - In this Dec. 13, 2010 file photo, rapper Ja Rule leaves court in New York. On Wednesday, March 9, 2011, a judge set a June 8 date for the platinum-selling rapper-actor's sentencing. The 35-year-old performer pleaded guilty in December to attempted weapon possession. He agreed to a two-year prison term. His lawyer says he'll spend the intervening months finishing a new album, "Renaissance Project," and taking care of tax matters. (AP Photo/Seth Wenig, file)

Oh, I just had to check. From Wikischmedia:
Jeffrey Atkins (born February 29, 1971),[1] better known by his stage name Ja Rule, is an American rapper, singer, and actor.
Call me crazy, but that would make me think he's older than 35.
