Why? She's always had a reputation for being a closet singer. The single she released (about 15 years ago) with Huey Lewis covering Smokey Robinson's "Crusin" wasn't half bad. I thinks it's kinda funny how we always allow singers to get their non-actin' asses on screen, but if an actor doesn't come from a Broadway background we dog 'em out for trying to sing. One problem is that the Glee cast are forgetting that Joan Jett covered hat song and the original is by notable paedophile Gary Glitter. Way to go making him some more royalties. | |
