R&B crooner Tony Terry has teamed with band member and saxophonist Elan Trotman for a new soulful, sexy ballad.

The song, titled “Midnight Serenade,” will be on Trotman’s forthcoming album Love and Sax on Spectra Jazz Records due out May 8th.

This is second release in the smooth jazz genre. It seemed only right that he called on Terry since they are both members of Roberta Flack's band.

Tony Terry in recent years toured and recorded extensively with Roberta Flack and is best known for his love ballad "With You" featured on his self-titled second album, which reach the Top 20 of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, as well as the Top 10 on the R&B charts.

I dig it.

It reminds me of the Stokley joint with a sax player from about 17 years ago. (J.Spencer)
