thanks for sharing

amazing voice ... he's missed

other faves from that album

^ i also dig the filmed version of him and his band members Marcus Miller +

Nat Adderly,Jr. performing it at a piano in the studio. Very pure and direct.

it's crazy, because i read that biography on him maybe two months before he transcended... and i was on my way to new orleans the day it happened, and the person who was driving me was playing the last luther disc. he didn't mention anything about him transcending, so i didn't find out until i got to new orleans later that night what happened. so sad...

Love Luther! Such great memories... What a talent taken far too soon. Wish the oldies stations played him more. Superstar/Until You Come Back To Me was my jam... cool

I read Luther and Dionne wanted this released as a single but that crazy mofo Clive Davis didn't think it had hit potential. loser Was it a single in Europe? 'Cause I've seen international pressings of the 'How Many Times...' LP and it's titled 'So Amazing'.

That's crazy! This song had major hit potential....what was Clive thinking? disbelief In any case,I'm glad that Luther remade the song for his own album. It became a hit after all.
