the '1999' performance was great in comparison to this. i'm open about my heart going out to la toya, but homegirl cannot really sing, when left to her own devices. and i don't think i can sing either, but i'm not trying to make money off of it. the first couple of albums i thought she was guided pretty well, in terms of production. but this is just too much.

she probably would have been really good as a lawyer actually... she comes from a shady family.

Are you kidding? Prince used to fancy the hell out of LaToya. Even during the (in)famous dinner at Michael's house, Prince spent almost the entire time talking to LaToya & Janet. He never said a word to Michael not once during dinner conversations.

And anyway, all of The Jackson Sisters were fans of Prince & his associate acts. Rebbie did a cover of I Feel For You. LaToya did a cover of Private Joy & 1999. Janet had Jam/Lewis of The Time as her producers for most of her music career.

I heard that Prince had a big crush on La toya & heard about this famous dinner......I refuse 2 listen to her cover of 1999 though. She still rubs me the wrong way after throwing her whole family under the bus years ago...

and people like to say 'if latoya would have got with the right producers' she could have been successful like janet, yeah fuckin right. toya is just plain ole terrible as a performer. she need to pimp the reality tv market.

this performance always have me laughing... I LOVE LATOYA... i loved seeing her in the Celebrity Apprentice.

I swear...this isn't actually half bad. I know she can't really sing...but I still think it's entertaining to watch.

She shoulda gone to law school though...I would've really admired her more for that.
