Inxs premiere "DONT CHANGE" video newly recorded from "Original Sin" album

One of the best tribute albums ever came out last year, INXS original sin, a collection of very talented artists putting their spin on some Inxs classics, the tracklist was filled with some varied selections, not focusing just on the well known songs, also BIG names are not really found on this collection, though Ben Harper and also John Mayer can be found within, but some of the best cuts are done by the band themselves, whehter its "drum opera" a new instrumental track by inxs drummer, or "The Stairs" which features new frontman JD Fortune returning to the fold, and then there is the INXS classic, mostly un-known here but this song is their staple song more than any other "DONT CHANGE" from 1982, it put them on the map in their country, and got them charted in the USA for the first time, on this tribute its done very tastefully, almost choir like with co-lead vocals of band members Kirk Pengilly and Andrew Farris who was Michaels best friend and writing partner. The video was just released overseas, and its great, the flashes of the band now looking very ready to make their mark again.

Thank you for posting the video lastdecember. I think it is beautiful.

I wish there had been an empty microphone to represent Michael being gone.

But I understand they are working to move on, and at the same time pay tribute

to their past with him, and also their future.

I also feel bad for JD. I feel like these guys kinda used him part of the time. If he is in

the band, he should be in the video. Even if he didn't sing, he still could have been in the

video. It's like, he is in the band when it is good for them, but when it isn't, they just kinda

still act like they are a band without a singer. confused

No problem i love this version as i do the original, im going to post there very recent interview on the Q network, with JD and Kirk, and they address this matter, along with alot of music biz stuff, JD is not only hilarious, he is a freaking genius with his talking. No one can replace Michael and they all know that, but never has there been a better start to a new chapter than someone like JD. They do talk about his "dismissal" not being that, and how he is in the band.
