Guys i have been watching/reading documentaries related to LaToya Jackson about the way she was raised, her betrayal of the family, etc. and about her marriage to that manipulative husband of hers (i can't remember his name nor care to) and it just dawned on me: will MJ fans EVER forgive her for the way she betrayed her family especially MJ? i mean what she did to the entire Jackson family name back in the 90's was CRAZY as hell, but will we ever forgive this woman for almost throwing MJ under a train just for publicity?

I can't believe the way she betrayed Michael in the 90s I saw her on one of those 'Inside Edition'-type shows,talking about all these "checks" that Michael had given to the parents of the children who came to Neverland....basically,she was calling her brother a child molester! I'm surprised that he was able to forgive her.

Her ex husband's name is Tommy Mattola.

I don't like her. i probably will never like her nor forgive her. But Michael was a very caring and forgiving person. He forgave her a long time ago, as did the family.

I love Latoya! but only because she is this fucked up family member.

We'll never know what really goes on in a family like the Jacksons, so i don't think you should ask yourself if you can forgive her. She didn't do anything to you, so what's there to forgive?

I hated her for years, but the minute I learned her life was threatened, as well as michael and janet's, I forgave her too but never forgot it

And here is something else a lot of fans overlook. Latoya was saying her brother would never do that, before she started trashing him like that, Jack Gordon (or should I say Tommy?) took advantage of everything weak about her and made her do those things. It's not easy being in an abusive relationship and fearing for your life if you don't do this or that, even though it is terrible what she did.

And by the way, she's not that bad, she makes me crack up and I believe she exagerrates thinks, but she's just quirky, and I guess that just makes her latoya

MJ fans are nutty. They're always shitting on his family members.

I don't have anything against LaToya, I don't know the woman. Yeah, maybe she said some messed up things about her family, but they seem to have forgiven her for it and don't hold anything against her, so I think the fans need to just be quiet and worry about their own families.

I like LaToya. I don't hold the Jack Gordon stuff against her. Everybody makes mistakes.

and Michael fans aren't "nutty". that's pretty insulting and highly judgemental seeing you probably don't know many real Michael fans. I'm not nutty. My friends aren't nutty. His fans SHOULD be pissed and angry with her for saying that she KNOWS FOR A FACT that her brother molests children. why is ANYONE nutty for being upset with someone who could have played a very big part in putting her own brother in jail (if it had gone that far back in '93) for something he didn't do?! THAT is nutty.

Horrible thing to say, but I have no reason to be mad at her. The only one who does is Michael.

C'mon, every celebrity has a section of fans who, shall we say, are overboard. We see it with the Elvis, Michael & Mariah stans. Beyonce and Lady Gaga have their share, too. Nothing for the normal fans to get upset about.

Speaking of Latoya, she's gonna be on this season of Celebrity Apprentice, which airs this Sunday I think. I plan on watching it to see how she does

I've forgiven LaToya long after Michael AND Janet had forgiven her. And beside, Jack Gordon was the one that kidnapped AND brainwashed her.

Well, the beef is within the family so they have to deal with what she did as well as she does. I mean, she did do some pretty terrible things to her family, but who knows wtf was going on between them at the time and with her as well. (A lot of things sure.) Anyways, blood is thicker than water which is why I'm more than sure that they forgave her. I mean...to many of his fans she will never be in their good graces, but to them that is their family, y'know?

my heart does go out to la toya. i don't have anything against her. she's been through a lot. i can see where she's coming from. i think she tried to help in a lot of ways, and it backfired. but then she WAS kidnapped by gordon, and beaten. and it's been discussed elsewhere on this site, but in many ways it was with the help of her parents. and when he actually took her that's when they complained.

but yeah, when she was on israeli television saying her brother did that to children, i cringed. because she initially said he would NOT do that, then said he did.

i think michael forgave her, because he understood... he recognized the effects of abuse. she's got a whole lot of healing to do. and of course, being in that family, it's hard.

you can see, in this video, she and michael have a lot of the same mannerisms. just like janet.

i'll just say this: if mottola did to mariah carey what gordon did to la toya... whoo. i think ms. carey was kidnapped and controlled in a way as well. her behavior later on, i'm not surprised at all. but thatr's a whole different thread, eh?

Very good point.Whatever happened to family loyalty? In the 90s,LaToya turned on Michael,forgetting about all the things he had done to help out her useless career (casting her in a few music videos,having her sing backup vocals on "PYT",writing a song for her first album,etc).

Y'all can say whatever y'all want to about that crazy bitch but I remember her telling one of the talk show hosts back in the 1990s, I think it was Geraldo, that Janet was secretly married and years later it came out that it was true.

Latoya said she had met Janet somewhere in Minneapolis and that she (Latoya) still had on her microphone from an interview she had just finished. She said that when Janet saw the microphone, she hit the roof and started screaming...."Are you taping this!" Then she told Geraldo (I think) that Janet was secretly married which we later found out was true.

If she was telling the truth about this, who knows what else she was telling the truth about and people may have dismissed it because she was such a crazy bitch.

I mean anybody that excuse the type of "punishment" inflicted on them and not get advised psychologically says a lot about a family's well being. They've proven to be ill-equipped when it comes to the trappings of fame. Joe's dealings with Leonard Rowe and Katherine's current dealings with Howard Mann have proven that.
