Lil Wayne Under Fire Because Of Lyrics? http://new.music.yahoo.com/blogs/thatsreallyweek/134432/feb-28-mar-6-lil-waynes-negative-lyrics-prompt-complaint-song-from-little-girls/
I mean it's cool these young girls are standing up, but int he end.... i mean this is every other modern rap song lol..... So what is so different on this one?
Lil Waynes nasty tattooed ass has made lots of lyrics about as he puts it ''pussy, money, weed'''
So i don't get why this particular song is under so much fire Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

I can't believe anyone could classify what Lil Wayne raps as "lyrics."
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a rap-hater or one of the people going around using the word "shit-hop."
But this guy gets a lot of props for his stream-of-consciousness style where he supposedly doesn't write anything down before he goes into the studio and comes up with it off the top of his head. That's an interesting way of doing things, but nobody's stopped to notice that the words he puts on a record 1) are mis-used and don't go together, 2) don't make any sense and 3) mean nothing.
And yes, that's 3 ways of saying the same thing, but with him it can't be over-stated.

I've heard worse, and since little girls and little boys don't have independent means of making an income, problem solved.

He should be under fire because people compare him to Jimi Hendrix....
What the fuck kinda bullshit is that. "I don't think you'd do well in captivity." - random person's comment to me the other day

It's not just Lil Wayne. They said yes it was about Lil Wayne, but also about songs like this in general. And the reason it's this song being talked about is because theey were listening to the radio one day, and this song came on, and so much of it was being bleeped out, which gave them the inspiration to make the song. Did you even read the article?
And this is not what ever modern rap song is like. I could name a ton of rap songs that are modern and popular that prove you wrong.

Did writing all that make you feel cool? Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

I hate Lil Wayne just as much as the next guy, but they ARE lyrics. Words to a song are lyrics whether or not they are good.
And about the thing about him freestyling all his verses, that is obviously a lie. Especially considering people write some of his verses for him. And he did a song in which he completely stole the flow of a verse that was made a long time ago. But he put in a lot of his own words, and there's no way you could copy another rappers verse but with your own words all off the top of your head. Especially a verse with that speed.

Why would it? I answered your questions that you were apparently too lazy to read, and disagreed with something you said, and it was all barely a paragraph, so there was no writing "all that". Where do I act like I'm trying to be cool about doing this?

Wayne has got to be lying about that "no-writing" clause, only 3 mainstream artists have accomplished this feat: 1) Biggie 2) Jigga 3) Ja (skeptical on that)...
Point is, he is garbage as a rapper and has very little redeeming content. Even Ja, who is another weak MC, is stronger than Wayne by a Mile....
Hell, Wayne and Drake make 50 Cent look like Rakim ha ha ha

Lil Wayne's music isn't made for young children.
This is a publicity stunt conjured up by the parents. If you are letting your kids listen to explicit music maybe you should atleast try to explain the context of the content, regardless of how disrespectful it may be.
Y'DIEGGGG! You're so glam, every time I see you I wanna slam!

This is why I lay blame at the parents for that shit for not explaining what it is someone like Lil Wayne is saying. But rather than do that, they'll blame said artist for their kid's "destruction" when they need to look at the mirror. I don't like Lil Wayne either but common sense should tell you that you can't just blame an artist for what happens to "society".
