My band are heavily inspired by the doors. My singer is their hugest fan. Not into their stuff personally that much but I gotta like em

The most overrated band of all time. It's all rock music mythology bullshit with Jim Morrison. I own all their albums but hardly ever play them. They made some decent songs but are no way worthy of their reputation. I would like to see Ian Astbury though doing his thing with the remaining members as he's far more talented than Jim Morrison ever was.

Noodlers. This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

I love the extended version of "Light My Fire." That joint rocks.
Patricia Morrison occasionally posts at the same baseball website as I. (Haven't seen her there in a while, though.) She started posting there when Robin Ventura chose LA Woman as the Mets song.

I Agree.I respect Jim Morrison for His Vibe&Poetic Ways but aside from that the Band was just there. His Image overtook them&they didn't show me much beyond Him.yes they have some cool Jams but I wouldn't be saying Greatness about them.mistermaxxx

Oh,I'm sooo glad you mentioned Patricia, cause that's exactly the kind of woman Prince needs, someone who's MORE than just a pretty face and a nice bod,his "soulmate" is probably someone who is HIGHLY intelligent, someone who is artistic & creative like him(plays music, writes, paints or something and does it well),someone who can CHALLENGE him,not so easy to control-maybe Mani is these things,I don't know... Patrice Rushen probably would have been an awesome Mrs. Nelson. She is a talented writer and musician and was capable of inspiring him to write memorable hit pop tunes. "I Wanna Be Your Lover" and "Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad" were both written about Patrice Rushen.
