Yeah, right? I can't think of one aspect of their sound or look that would exclude them from being considered a Funk band.

The reason why I say they're 100% Funk, is because everybody keep labeling them as a Disco act and that's not fair! They belong up there with other legendary Funk acts like Parliament/Funkadelic, Bootsy Collins, Cameo, etc. Ya'll know what I mean?

Hell I can explain that better: the bass, guitar riffs and those drums. And the horns. And the way they sang it. Not sing it, SANG it.

My cable provider needs a serious channel makeover. I don't get TV One and have been missing all the great Unsung episodes! They also recently dropped GSN (Game Show Network), so I'm about to drop THEM! I didn't realize it, but apparently I had become a "Family Feud" fiend, and now they've jacked my shit, lol.
