(not a single filler on the album, her first album since floetry, her debut album as Solo artist, stand out track "I want you stay" written for Micheal Jackson before passed for his album) [Edited 3/1/11 3:46am]

I'll probably be swiping this up this weekend. I really wasn't a Floetry fan, but I've always loved Marsha's voice. I wanna hear what this album is all about. Check me out and add me on:

My bf picked me up a copy today. Can't wait to hear it! She has such a unique voice and she knows how to work with what she's got. I love her best on those slow ballads she does. Not only that, she has the coolest name ever... "Keep in mind that I'm an artist...and I'm sensitive about my shit."--E. Badu

The only disc that can pull me away from Adele's 21. It's a non-skipper for me. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

Me too! Don't sleep on this CD guys. For one thing, it's real, straight-up r&b. None of that "little bit of pop, little bit of rock, little bit of this, little bit of that." I hate all that genre blurring. It waters everything down. This is a definite quiet storm classic with great songwriting, production, chord changes, etc. I'm just loving the whole vibe. I love every song, but my leats favorite is The Break Up Song. I think her version of Yes, Indeed by Teena should have replaced that! But I digress...
It's nice to hear some creative neo-soul. It's been a while... "Keep in mind that I'm an artist...and I'm sensitive about my shit."--E. Badu
