After serving three years in prison for hitting a club waitress with a bottle, Da Brat's friend and longtime collaborator Jermaine Dupri tweeted that she has finally been released.
"Happy day for me and all SO SO DEF fans, Da BRAT is finally home," posted Dupri on his Twitter page yesterday (Feb. 28).
Dupri also told fans they can reach Da Brat by hitting "her up on GLOBAL14.COM right now @brat and welcome her back." | |

How will she foster a successful career in the age of Nicki Minaj, Lil Kim and Foxy who is making a come back? Just sayin' maybe she's not marketable at this time. She should wait for Remy Ma to get out and then the both of them can tag team the other chicks. I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

And semi-off topic but despite her saying she was only 17 when she did the cover for the Hard Core album, Lil Kim is damn near 40 her damn self. | |

(She was 21 when she did that cover with her squatting down.) She thought she could get away with taking her age down two or three notches.

If she's worth that much then I doubt she's worried about getting back on the spotlight. She never struck me as bitter in terms of hip-hop female artists in this generation. Least I haven't seen it. | |
