Saw Jonny Lang performed last night in a small venue at Chico State University. His band members hail from Minneapolis and Nashville and were excellent. The audience sat in a rather formal enviroment but jumped to their feet twice for a roaring raucus standing ovation.

Jonny Lang's sound is uniquely spiritual with blues, funk, and soul. He was exciting and skillful in bringing the audience from quiet and reflective to a dizzying crescendo of excitement. Would love to see him perform again.
