was very lucky to come across this massive box set in a discount store today. I've known it was out for a couple of weeks now, but the price was a bit too much for me. I stood in that store I guess 45 minutes contemplating, should I or shouldn't I, but eventually did take it home with me... and I'm glad I did. this is a real treasure trove. 13CD's jam packed with gems known and unknown.

well it's a bear family box set so that should say enough about the quality of this set. anyone else familiar with this box, or the music from the time? other bear family boxes you'd recommend?
