February 26, 2011. Yesterday a Twitter BATTLE broke out . . between R&B superstars Rihanna and Ciara.

It all started when Ciara was on E! Network's FASHION police and she said that Rihanna was throwing shade during NBA ALL Star Weekend

Well Rihanna took to Twitter. First calling Ciara a SKRIPPER, then trying to PUNK HER. Eventually, we're told Rihanna's publicist FORCED her to make a fake apology to Ciara. And Ciara, being the PUNK that she is . . . accepted it.

So we know what you're wondering . . . WHY WAS RIHANNA acting shady towards Ciara during All Star Weekend. Well according to a MediaTakeOut.com snitch, Rihanna was in the VIP section of LeBron James and Jay Z's two king's party, along with other celebs and LeBron's fiance Savannah.

Well word is that Ciara, who is one of LeBron's many JUMPOFFS, tried to make her way into the VIP section. Rihanna (andmany other celebs) thought that it was very CLASSLESS and DISRESPECTFUL for Ciara to invade Savannah's space like that. And they all shunned CiCi.

I don't know why Ciara found it necessary to mention this when they were discussing fashion. Stick to the topic and let your frustration out somewhere else.

NONE of them broads can throw hands, so I don't even know why they all stickin' their chest out like they about to do somethin'. Chick fights are hilarious.

Perez Hilton was another one all in the mix last night (siding w/Rihanna). Trying to play like he was a "peacemaker" lol Hilarious.

I saw this unfold in real-time and it was the funniest thing on earth. LOL I was surprised at Rihanna, mostly. She went hard (just like she did on Sandra Rose lol) and then apologized. I don't think her publicist made her though because of the way it was worded....seemed personal or something IDK.

Ciara was dumb to bring up being dissed on TV and Rihanna was silly to respond to someone like Ciara. Then Ciara says "let's talk in person" DUH, that's what you should've done in the first place.

But hey, male celebs fight on twitter all the time so....

That's what struck me, too....She was on twitter begging to be dropped by her label and all this. I think she's just going through hard times and is lashing out. She got into it with 50 Cent on twitter, too....

I didn't see it mentioned anywhere and I know we can't post clips....so let me just say this here even though it's a bit off-topic: I can't believe Prince covered Rihanna's "Rude Boy". OMG!! He funked it up and Sheile E was great on the timbales. It didn't have the synths or steele drum sound that helped make the song but I still thought it was fab. Surprised that he did that though, especially because of the words.

I hope that everyone realizes that most artists have Twitter accounts that they dont even use, most are either fake or the artist hires someone to take the "tweets". So basically these so called media-outlets invent their own stories and then go off on them, social networking is the biggest disaster in history.

I think the scariest part is that this kind of nonsense gets play, for all we know this is two 14 year olds that have twitter accounts for ciara and rihanna, HOW TWITTER has survived this long is amazing, i scan the nonsense and shit that people post and its nothing more than people trying to act like they are important, when they are not. Its like Facebook on ACID, basically, people posting shit about just going for a jog? who cares, twitter me when you get run over by a car. And the fact that people actually say "TMZ is Reporting"??? WHAT??? Tmz employs hacks and people that cant read let alone, report.

rihanna and several celebrities actually tweet and its NOT their PR doing it.....

i doubt this story is made up..... i heard of several encounters people had with rihanna and how rude she is...
