This reminds me of something Bill Hicks once said...

lol Ahh, that sense of relief when you realise you're not cool anymore......and you like it!!

I've got two nephews a couple of years older, and I find myself subjected to (and quite enjoying, on the quiet) all kinds of stuff my younger self would've scoffed at!

(No Bieber yet, though. Small mercies.) razz

Meh. I just really find that 'Baby, Baby Ooh" song to be hella' annoying. Otherwise...he can do whatever he wants. I don't care.

I didn't call him anything m8. I was quoting Bill Hicks. He said it (About New Kids On The Block originally), U just reminded me of it, so I quoted it. smile

I've heard he's a spoilt brat from various journalists who've interviewed him.

Jony, I like what I've seen of him, too, actually. His music isn't my cup of tea, but he's got a decent enough voice and reasonable stage presence. He also seems like a nice kid, and he's even shown a certain savvy in handling the "scandals" folk try to concoct around him. That's something many older veterans haven't even mastered.

an

What I find scary is the multi platform pimping out of this young kid. He can't be just about developing music. He has to sell skincare, he has to have a movie, he has to sell concert tickets, he was on superbowl ads selling a mobile phone or something. Overexpose him, have the public turn against him, wonder why he turns to drugs and alcohol when he gets tossed because the next new hype turns up. It will be impossible for him to get out of this unscathed.
