Once it gets going it's ok. But it's paint by number.

HEARTBEAT CITY is still an incredible album. 1984's most underrated. (In the shadow of Thriller and Purple Rain.) I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think. |

Everything i have heard from this upcoming record has been top notch stellar stuff, its a BREATH of fresh air in this dismal music scene that has little to offer right now. Now if only this can get some air time! Yeah i mean i like the way its done, totally the way they did things back then, lets remember as a band they havent been all together since "Door To Door" and even now its still minus the late Benjamin "Drive" Orr. So to pick up this perfect with their sound is amazing, reminds me what DD has done on their latest, and what a-ha did on their final album, going back without sounding "retro and wrong" well done "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F | |

You know me already! I was thinking about Simon LeBon too. He sounds almost the same as he did in the 80's. I live for "retro"! Hoping Stevie Nicks did the same thing on her upcoming album. | |
