I hadn't heard that album since i was a kid. I need to check this.

Just went to youtube and remembered Smile Happy and Heartbeat.

Of course we always hear the title track and Low Rider on various

radio formats.

I like this one. smile

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

This two-part suite of songs is just too much. They bring it on this monster of heartbreak and regret from their 1971 masterpiece, All Day Music:

You just can't deny anything they made from 1971's War to 1975's Why Can't We Be Friends? music

There is only one War album that I have never heard.....their 1983 album 'Life (Is So Strange)'

This album is a mystery. It came and went very quickly in 1983 without much airplay.Has anyone heard it? Is it worth adding to my collection? I did hear the title track but I wasn't too impressed.
